अलेक्जेन्डर द ग्रेट वा मेसेडन राजा अलेक्जेन्डर तृतिय (ग्रीक: Ἀλέξανδρος ὁ Μέγας, Aléxandros ho Mégasiii[›] from the Greek ἀλέξω alexo "to defend, help" + ἀνήρ aner "man"),(ई. पू .२०/२१ जुलाई ३५६ – १०/११ जुन ३२३) प्राचिन युनानको उत्तरमा अवस्थित मेसेडनका राजा हुन । ई. पू .३५६मा पेलामा जन्मिएका अलेक्जेन्डरलाई १६ बर्ष सम्म अरस्तूले शिक्षा प्रदान गरेका थिए ।
