Hari Khetan Multiple Campus was founded in the year 2038 B.S. by an eminent social worker and industrialist Bihari Lal Khetan in the memory of his son Hari Khetan with a mission to impart best quality education to students from all sections of society. Bihari Lal Khetan established the institution with co-operation of Former Finance Minister Dr. Yadav Prasad Pant and former Zonal Commissioner Mr. Laksha Bahadur Gurung and Chief District Officer Mr. Gopal Man Shrestha along with local personalities of all sectors.
This institution is located at the heart of Birgunj city which is also known as the Gate way of Nepal. By now it has grown up as a leading campus of this territory having more than hundred efficient and qualified teachers, about minimal staff with four thousand students in various disciplines from +2 to post graduate level. This institute evolved with a view to strive relentlessly to provide quality education and training in various educational fields to authorize our students to build up real life character.

Hari Khetan Multiple Campus is located at the heart of Birgunj which is the southern border city of Nepal. It was founded in 2038 by an eminent social worker and industrialist Late. Bihari Lal Khetan in the memory of his son Late. Hari Khetan and in presence of former Finance minister Dr. Yadav Prasad Pant and with Co-operation of Local personalities of all sectors. Former Zonal Commissioner Mr. Laksha Bdr. Gurung and former C.D.O. Mr. Gopal Man Shrestha extended the helping hands for all-round development of this community based Campus. Initially it was run in Trijuddha High school as an evening Campus with a dozen of teachers and administrative Staff and two and half dozen of Students. By now it has grown up as a big promising campus having about a hundred efficient and qualified teachers, about minial Staff with about three thousand students in various faculties.
Infrastructure
[सम्पादन गर्नुहोस्]These faculties are run in the main three storey building and two rented building at Maisthan & Mercantile. This campus always aims at high standard of academic excellence which is duly reflected in examination results almost in all faculties and all levels. Hari Khetan Multiple Campus was inaugurated in 2038 B.S. and is located in the heart of Birgunj, Nepal. The college is one of the few colleges of Nepal that provides a variety of courses of all levels. It is a huge college with hundreds of experienced faculty members and thousands of students. The college runs 14 types of programs including B.Sc. CSIT. Some of other programs provided by the college are Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Studies, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Law and several other programs. Similarly, the college also runs higher secondary programs in management, science, and humanities. Hence, the college runs in several big buildings and huge compound.
There are significant facilities at the campus. We organize seminars and other programs respecting the faculty members who have given precious time of their life to the campus providing education and also rewarding the hardworking students who have accomplished wonders in the examination held by the campus and also there are remedial classes organized by the campus where the students learn about various things related to study that they are confused about and also teach other students what knowledge they have regarding the respective subject.
Academics
[सम्पादन गर्नुहोस्]Hari Khetan Multiple Campus is one of the few colleges in Birgunj that provides IT education. Although, B.Sc. CSIT is the only IT program provided by the college, students can gain an abundance of IT skills and knowledge through this program. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information technology (B.Sc. CSIT) is a popular IT program that provides intensive knowledge in the field of information technology. It is a four-year course that is consistently divided into 8 semesters of 6 months period each. This course is an integration of both computer science and information technology. This course provides adequate practical knowledge which makes the students capable of performing in the competitive working environment. Similarly, the students are also able to participate in solving critical problems of IT industry.
Hari Khetan Multiple Campus is determined in providing this course in an advanced manner through various services and facilities that it provides. The college successfully provides facilities such as library and computer laboratory which is essential for the growth and practical experience of the students. Similarly, the college has undertaken modern techniques of education and also focuses on extra-curricular activities. Hence, the college focuses on an all-round development of the students. Moreover, the faculty members are well experienced and qualified and deliver a world-class education to the students.
Students willing to study the course of B.Sc. CSIT should fulfill some criteria. In order to study B.Sc. CSIT, students must have completed +2 in science or an equivalent program with at least a second division. Similarly, the students must also pass the exam conducted by Tribhuvan University. Then, students must appear for the entrance exams conducted by the college. After that, the students are selected through an interview and then the selected ones shall apply for further procedures of admission. Additional Information
[सम्पादन गर्नुहोस्]Admission forms are available at the campus and campus website from where the students can fill up their personal information and apply for the entrance test. The students must have passed SLC examination with at least 40% Aggregate. After the successful submission of the form Entrance Test is taken for the applicants and then the examiners who had passed the entrance exam will be called for interview from our staff members and then the deserving candidates get admitted to the campus.
