Manish Paudel Biography
Young, eligible, enthusiastic and most popular photographer of Birgunj Manish Paudel born in 1987. He started his careeras a photographer in the year 2007. He was fascinated by photography after a suddendemise of his beloved cousin brother Subodh Singh.
Being an engineering student of BIT College he had never thought of choosing his career as a photographer but as the catch of course was recognizing him he had to move on to different profession. The idea of becoming a photographer had never crossed his mind but to fulfill the awaiting dream of his brother he took the responsibility of handling the photography as his interest and his interest transformed into his career.
Choosing a different career was little tough for him but as there’s a saying- ‘Nothing is impossible in this world if u just try’; he proved it to b true. His devotion towards his work leaded him to the height of success. And now he is well known photographer of Birgunj. He is also the recipient of numerous awards; some of them are :
- Subodh Memorial photo journalism Award 2012’ winner of Pratik National Daily 2012
- Bravery Award 2012’ under photo/video category organized by NGO Sano Paila (A little Step).
- 1st prize in Wheel’s HOLI HANGAMA National photo contest in 2010.
- 2nd prize in celebration theme monthly photo contest organized by ECS Media Pvt.ltd Kathmandu.
- 3rd prize in Cultural themes photo contest 2010 organized by Image School, Kathmandu.
- Photo Selected for Nepal-Bangladesh Maitri Photo Exhibition, Bangladesh.
Be passionate and believe in your work’ is the motto of his life. He always accepts the challenges that pop out in front of him. As hard work comes with fruitful results his reward is the fruit of his hardshipness. His way of dealing with the creation of life and creativity has given us to look forward into a new way of life. An independent, fun loving and creative minded person Mr. Paudel is an inspiring idol for me as well as for the people across the town and I wish a good luck for rest of his work n may he instigate some more mesmerizing photographic images ahead.
Poudel is the co-founder of Sanskriti, a junction for creative youth in Birgunj that aims to energize and build the capacity of young people through engagement in initiatives that explore various forms of art and expression.
