विमान चालक

पेशा वा मनोरन्जनकोलागि विमान वा वायुयान उडाउनेलाई विमान चालक भनिन्छ। विमान चालिका भन्ने शब्दले महिला विमान चालकलाई जनाउँछ।

वायुयान उडाउनु एक चुनौतिपुर्ण कार्य मानिन्छ। बिभिन्न किसिमका वायुयान उडाएर विश्वकिर्तिमान राख्न मानिसहरु लागिपर्छन्।

निजि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र

संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाको संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणबाट निजि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त गर्न यी आवश्यक छन्:

• उमेर कम्तिमा १७ वर्ष हुनुपर्ने
• अंग्रेजिमा पढ्न, बोल्न र लेख्न जान्नु पर्ने
• अमेरिकि संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणबाट तेस्रो दर्जाको चिकित्सा प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त हुनुपर्ने
• कम्प्युटरकृत हवाइ ज्ञान परिक्षा उतिर्ण हुनुपर्ने
• कम्तिमा ४० घण्टा उडान समय आर्जन गर्नुपर्ने, जस मध्ये २० घण्टा उडान प्रशिक्षक र १० घण्टा एकल-उडान समय हुनुपर्ने
• संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणको नियमानुसार उडान परिक्षा उतिर्ण हुनुपर्ने

खेलकुद विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र

जुलाई २००४मा संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणले नया खेलकुद विमान चालक नियम स्विकृत गर्यो।. यो प्रमाणपत्र माथि उल्लेख गरिएको निजि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त गर्न भन्दा सजिलो छ। तर यसका सिमितता निजि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्रका भन्दा पनि बढि छन्।

• संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणबाट चिकित्सा प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त हुनुनपर्ने। सवारि चालक अनुमतिपत्रका आधारमा विमान चालकलाई उडानको निम्ति चिकित्सा योग्यता दिन सकिने।
• कम्तिमा २० घण्टा उडान समय आर्जन गर्नुपर्ने, जस मध्ये १५ घण्टा उडान प्रशिक्षक र ५ घण्टा एकल-उडान समय हुनुपर्ने।
• संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणको नियमानुसार उडान परिक्षामा उतिर्णाङ्क प्राप्त गर्नुपर्ने।
• संघिय उड्डयन् प्राधिकरणले तोकेको परिक्षकसँग प्रयोतात्मक उडान परिक्षा उतिर्ण हुनुपर्ने।

खेलकुद विमान चालकमाथि लगाईएको सबैभन्दा उल्लेख्य प्रतिबन्धहरु:

• रात्री उडान गर्न नपाईने
• १०,००० फिटमाथि उडान गर्न नपाईने
• नियन्त्रित हवाईक्षेत्र श्रेणी (श्रेणी ए, बि, सि वा डि)मा उडान गर्नु पुर्व अतिरिक्त निर्देषन नभई नपाईने।

उच्चस्तरिय प्रमाणपत्रहरु

निजि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त गरेपछि विमान चालकले यी प्रमाणपत्रहरुको निम्ति आवेदन दिनसक्छन्:

• उपकरण प्रमाणपत्रले जमिनसँग दृष्य सम्पर्कविना विमानलाई उपकरणहरुबाट संचालन गर्ने अनुमति दिन्छ।
• व्यापारी प्रमाणपत्रले विमान चालकलाई कमाईको निम्ति विमान संचालन गर्ने अनुमति दिन्छ।
• उडान प्रशिक्षक प्रमाणपत्रले अरु विमान चालकलाई प्रशिक्षण गर्न अनुमति दिन्छ।
• वायु यातायात विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्रले ठुलो क्षमताको परिवहन वा वायुसेवाको निम्ति उडान गर्ने अनुमति दिन्छ।

अन्य प्रमाणपत्रहरु

अमेरिकी सैन्य विमान चालकहरुले उडान प्रशिक्षण पुरागरि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त गरेपछि विमान चालक पदक प्रदान गरिन्छ।

क्यानेडाली विमान चालक अनुमतिपत्र

निजि विमान चालक प्रमाणपत्र

क्यानेडाको क्यानेडा यातायातबाट निजि विमान चालक (उच्च कार्यक्षमता नभएको एकल-इन्जिन् वायुयान अवतरण) अनुमतिपत्रको निम्ति आवस्यकता:

• अनुमतिपत्र लिँदा उमेर कम्तिमा १७ वर्ष हुनुपर्ने
• तेस्रो वा पहिलो दर्जाको चिकित्सा प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त हुनुपर्ने
• उल्लेखित बिषयमा कम्तिमा ४० घण्टा जमिन अध्ययन् हुनुपर्ने
• Completed 45 hours of flight training including all designated exercises
• Successfully pass a written exam with Transport Canada (PPAER - pass mark 60%)
• Successfully complete a flight test to the standard outlined in the Flight Test Guide
  • Privileges र restrictions upon completion
    • May act as pilot-in-command of any aircraft (as endorsed on the licence)
    • May carry passengers (as per aircraft limitations, subject to currency requirements)
    • May not fly for hire (including carriage of passengers or cargo)
    • Limited to day, VFR flight conditions
    • May obtain Night or Instrument Ratings

Commercial Pilot Licence

The requirements to obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence (single engine land non-high performance aeroplanes) in Canada (from Transport Canada) are:

• 18 years old at time of licence completion
• Must hold a minimum of a Private Pilot Licence to start training
• Must obtain a Category 1 Medical Certificate
• Complete an additional 40 hours of ground
• Complete a grand total of 200 hours of flight time including 100 hours as pilot-in-command
• Successfully complete a flight test to the standard outlined in the Flight Test Guide
• Successfully pass a written exam with Transport Canada
  • Privileges र restrictions upon completion
    • May act as pilot-in-command of any aircraft (as endorsed on the licence)
    • May carry passengers (as per aircraft limitations, subject to currency requirements)
    • May fly for hire (as per CARs requirements)
    • May fly VFR OTT

Recreational Pilot Permit

The requirements to obtain a Recreational Pilot Permit (single engine land non-high performance aeroplanes) in Canada (from Transport Canada) are:

• 16 years old at time of licence completion
• Must obtain a Category 4, 3 or 1 Medical Certificate
• Complete a minimum of 25 hours of flight
• Successfully complete a flight test to the
• Successfully pass a written exam with Transport Canada
  • Privileges र restrictions upon completion
    • May act as pilot-in-command of an aircraft up to a four-seater (as endorsed on the licence)
    • May carry a maximum of one passenger (as per aircraft limitations, subject to currency requirements)
    • May not fly for hire (including carriage of passengers or cargo)
    • Limited to day, VFR flight conditions
    • Limited to flight in Canada

Other Certifications

• Night Rating May act as pilot-in-command of any aircraft at night
• VFR Over-the-Top Rating May operate an aircraft above र between cloud layers as per CARs 602.116
• Float Rating May act as pilot-in-command of any aircraft on floats
• Ski Rating May act as pilot-in-command of any aircraft on skis
• Multi-Engine Rating May act as pilot-in-command of a multi-engine aircraft
• Instrument Rating May operate an aircraft under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), as endorsed on the licence
• Instructor Rating May conduct dual flight instruction in respect of the issuance of a pilot permit
• Aerobatic Rating May carry passengers while performing aerobatic maneuvers (as per aircraft limitations, र CARs)
