WritingNepal is the "social cataloging" website founded in February 2013 and launched in March 2013 by Ruman Neupane and Rujan Neupane. The website allows Users to freely search WritingNepal's database of books and reviews. Users can sign up and register books to generate library catalogs and reading lists. They can also create their own blogs and discussions. The website's offices are in Bhaktapur. Nepal. "Users found difficult to pronounce 'OnlineKksha' so later we have decided to change the domain to 'WritingNepal'." said it's founder.
History
WritingNepal founded in 2013 and its mission is 'to help Nepali writers, bloggers, and publishers to make their own virtual bookshelf.' Users can share books they love to read. The company is still running through an informal fund.
Features
on the WritingNepal's website, users can add writing and books to their virtual library. Publishers and writers can add the event to their profile and they are free to share, it helps readers to reach them. Users can know what their followers reading, rating and recommending to others. They can get the suggestion for more books based on their previous review and rating. Once user started to following others they can see his/her profile and check their rating and bookshelf. After signing up, users can comment on every writing and books.
The site providing two default shelf for their users- 'reading list' and 'finished reading'. Authors can link their books to their profile and they can get own blogs for their writing.

The founder said that they are currently working on online bookstore and the POD.
