युद्धविराम
युद्धविराम ( युद्ध विराम वा युद्धविराम ) भनेको युद्धमा लड्ने पक्षहरू बीच आपसी सहमतिमा युद्ध रोक्ने कार्य हो। लडाइँको रोकावट अवरोध स्थायी वा अस्थायी हुन सक्छ। युद्धविराम प्रायः पक्षहरू बीचको औपचारिक सन्धिको अंश हुन्छ, तर पक्षहरूले सम्झौतामा हस्ताक्षर नगरी अनौपचारिक रूपमा पनि युद्धविराम हुन सक्छ। [१]
युद्धविराम रेखा[सम्पादन गर्नुहोस्]
प्रायः दुई पक्षबीचको युद्धपछि दुवै पक्ष यस्तो अवस्थामा पुग्छन् जसमा कसैलाई पूर्ण जित हासिल गर्न असम्भव देखिन्छ तर पूर्ण सम्झौता गर्न पनि तयार हुँदैनन् । यस्तो अवस्थामा प्रायः दुबैमा युद्धविराम हुन्छ र जहाँ आ-आफ्ना सेना लडिरहेका हुन्छन्, त्यही नै उनीहरुको वास्तविक आपसी सिमाना बन्छ, यद्यपि एक वा दुवै पक्ष यसलाई मान्य सीमा मान्न तयार छैनन् । त्यस्ता सीमाहरूलाई 'युद्धविराम रेखा' (ceasefire line, सीज़फ़ायर लाइन) भनिन्छ। [२] उदाहरणका लागि, उत्तर कोरिया र दक्षिण कोरियाबीचको युद्ध औपचारिक रूपमा कहिल्यै समाप्त भएको छैन, तर १९५३ मा उनीहरूबीच युद्धविराम रेखा बनाइएको थियो र यो उनीहरूको आपसी सीमाको रूपमा अवस्थित छ। [३]
