Bijauri is the one of the village development committee [V.D.C] of Dang District of Nepal. It is located in the central part of Dang Valley which is the South Asia's largest valley. The climate is sub tropical. The only Sanskrit University of Nepal, "Nepal Sanskrit University" previously "Mahendra Sanskrit University" is located in this area. Its the resident of Tharus, other caste people. Durga Temple of Bansgadhi Bijauri is holy place and Malika Kalika Temple at Chhilikot is the significant holy place of Lord Durga. There is no any caste discrimination in this place.
