ओशिनियाका विश्व सम्पदा क्षेत्रहरूको सूचीमा सुचिकृत प्रथम सम्पदाहरू मध्य एक: काकाडु राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज

सन् २०१४ सम्ममा ओशिनियाका ११ वटा देशहरूको ३२ वटा सम्पदालाई संयुक्त राष्ट्र शैक्षिक, वैज्ञानिक एवं सांस्कृतिक सङ्गठन (युनेस्को)द्वारा विश्व सम्पदा क्षेत्रमा मान्यता प्रदान गरिएको छ।[१][२] यस क्षेत्रमा रहेको अस्ट्रेलियाको सबैभन्दा बढी सम्पदा सूचीकृत गरिएको छ।[३] यस क्षेत्रबाट सबैभन्दा पहिले ग्रेट ब्यारियर रिफ, काकाडु राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज तथा विलान्ड्रा ताल क्षेत्रलाई युनेस्कोले विश्व सम्पदा सूचीमा समावेस गरेको थियो।[४]
